General FAQ’s

Can I choose individual titles?

We can help narrow down your order by genre, color or subject, but we are unfortunately not able to offer individual titles. However, you can select individual titles for purchase at any of our The Open Book stores.

Can I mix and match books and subjects?

Yes, you can mix and match any style we offer towards the overall purchase.

Is there a minimum order?

All categories have a 2-foot minimum order that can be combined towards the overall purchase.

Can I return my orders?

If there was a shipping error on your order, such as receiving the wrong genre or color, returns are accepted, otherwise all sales are final.

Do you buy books?

We offer a buy-back program in-person at our The Open Book stores. If you have a large collection you would like to sell, please send us an email and an associate can assist you.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We do not currently offer any gift certificates.

Shipping FAQ’s

How long will it take to receive my order?

Turnaround time will vary depending on the quantity and styling of the books purchased.

Standard orders are shipped within 3 business days after receipt of payment. Large or bulk orders are shipped within 5 business days.

Can I pick up my order?

Large or bulk orders can be picked up at our warehouse location in Simi Valley

What is your shipping policy?

Can I get a tax exempt status?

Provide us with your reseller ID and you will not be billed for tax.

What carrier do you use?

In order to provide cost-effective shipping, we determine the overall size of the order and select an appropriate carrier based on their fees. Large/bulk orders are shipped via pallet. Your order will be rate-shopped to find you the best option.

If you would like us to ship using a specific carrier, please let us know which you would prefer.

Can I use my own UPS/FedEx account for shipping my order?
